Robbie Kelley Brown

Mrs. Robbie Kelley Brown, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan 13,2013 surrounded by her family. Robbie was born April 27, 1919 in Fulbright, Texas, the daughter of Hubert Edgar and Katherine Selina Lee Kelley. She married Harvey Dee Brown on June 7, 1942, in Fulbright, Texas in Red River County. Robbie touched many lives both personally and professionally. She taught school in the McCrury and Detroit School Districts, three years at Paris Junior College and 19 years in the Paris Independent School District. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. Robbie was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Brown, her infant daughter, Cynthia Sue, and her adult son, Robert Kim Brown. She is survived by her children: DeeAnn Brown Cummins and husband Larry, Deryl Kelley Brown and wife Deb, Rodney Tim Brown, and Jane Brown Montgomery and husband Tom; daughter-in-law, Cinda Brown, her twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband in a private ceremony on Tuesday, January 15th. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
