Robbie Christine (Haskell) Ward

There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.

It is with great sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of our kind, brave, caring and unimaginably beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and friend Robbie Christine Ward

Born December 26, 1943 in Deport, Texas to Opal Haskell and Bessie Hunt Haskell.  Robbie passed peacefully in her home in Wills Point, Texas on June 14, 2023. She was 79 years of age.

Robbie's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren. She was the loving mother of Glen Allen Ward, Patricia Fischer, Teresa (Tommy) Hogue, Angela (David) Butler and Pamela Ward Goodwin.  She was the proud grandmother of Michael Hammond, Phillip Ince, Christopher (Brittney) Goodwin, Kristen (Chris) House, Matthew Goodwin, Serenity Butler, Ashton Butler, Adrienne Hogue and Leah (Andrew) Sperry. Great-grandchildren Michael Goodwin, Maddox Goodwin, David Taylor, Madison Sperry and Lana Hogue.

Robbie was predeceased by her parents Opal and Bessie Haskell, two brothers Chester and Gerald Haskell, two of her children Glen Allen Ward and Patricia Ann Fischer and  her beloved husband of 31 years Glen Martin Ward.

Chapel Services will be held at Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Deport, Texas Sunday June 18, 2023 at 2pm.

Services will be followed by the interment at Highland Cemetery Deport, Texas
