Ronnie Glynn Johnson

Ronnie Glynn Johnson, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on March 13, 1948, in Edinburg, Texas, Ronnie spent his life in the Lone Star State, eventually settling in Annona, Texas.

Ronnie proudly served his country as a Marine, embodying the values of strength and dedication throughout his life. After his service, he became a familiar face in his community as a dedicated city worker for the City of Mesquite, where he made many friendships and left a lasting impact.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Patricia Venable and her husband Bennie, as well as his son Bryan Johnson and wife Rita. Ronnie was also a cherished grandfather to Brittany Cleveland, Jordann Roy, Colton Devries, and Dustin Bailey, and a great-grandfather to Averie, Maddie, and Callie Roy. He is survived by his sister Connie Crawford and brother-in-law Jerry Crawford. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Fritz Johnson, his sister, Doris Reichert, and brother, Larry Johnson.

Ronnie's warm spirit, sense of humor, and kindness to others will be truly missed.

A memorial service to honor Ronnie will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Community Life Church located at 1950 Alpha Drive, Rockwall, Texas 75087.
