Ruby Ruth Anderson

Ruby Ruth Anderson, age 65 of Bogata, died at her home on Friday, December 28, 2012. Funeral Services have been scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday, January 2 in the Bogata Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Billy Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in English Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the church. She was born on February 15, 1947 in Red River County, the daughter of Norman and Ida J. Smith Couch. She married Marion Anderson in May, 1968. She was a medication aide working for a number of nursing homes in the area. Survivors include her husband, Marion Anderson of Bogata; children: Tony Livingston and wife, Wanda of Powderly, Kimberly Lindsey and friend, Randy Hendricks of Bagwell, and Paul Anderson of Bogata; 3 sisters: Shirley Vickers and husband, Kenneth of Bogata; Judy Scott and husband, Tom of Bogata and Dorothy Mathena of Honey Grove; 3 brothers, Ricky Couch and wife, Patty of Lamar Point, Kenneth Couch and wife, Carolyn of Paris, and Herman Wayne Couch of San Antonio; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Norman Couch, Jr. and brother-in-law, Frank Mathena.
