Ruth Robinson, age 86 and formerly of Cunningham, died at Legends Healthcare on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Cremation Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Homes, Deport. Burial of the Cremains will take place on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Highland Cemetery. The family and friends will gather at Wood Funeral Homes prior and will go to Cemetery at 11:00am. She was born September 15, 1926 in Cunningham, Texas the daughter of Charles and Mary Ruthardt Whitt. She owned and operated Bogata Propane with her husband for many years. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Brodie, 5 sisters, 4 brothers, husbands, Ralph Brodie in October 1969 and James Robinson on May 27, 1984. Survivors include grandchildren: John Brodie, Linda Arnold and Samantha Cooley; 5 great-grandchildren, Christy, Savannah, Felicia, James and Alex; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Haley of Paris.
