It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandra Colleen Pompa, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on September 13, 1957, in Dallas, Texas, Sandra peacefully departed from this world on August 3, 2024, in Keller, Texas, surrounded by her loving family.
Sandra was a dedicated Project Manager at Quilt Craft industry, utilizing her sharp mind and organizational skills to excel in her field. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and hard work that will forever be cherished by her children Tisha and Michael McDowell, Venessa Pompa and fiancé Scott Chapin, Jared and Brooke Pompa, and Francisco Gonzales, as well as her grandchildren, Nicholas, Kayla and her husband Jose, Luke, Blake, Skylar, Jared Braydon and Johnathan and his wife Tessa, as well as 3 great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother, Roger, and her sisters, Jackie, Marlene, Denise, Ellen, Robin and Rhonda. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Evelyn Dorman.
A public viewing to remember Sandra's life will be held at Wood-Haggard Funeral Home in Bogata on August 9, 2024, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects and honor her memory. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place at First Baptist Church in Bogata on August 10, 2024, at 11:00 am, where we will gather to celebrate her life, share cherished memories, and find comfort in each other's presence. Sandra will be laid to rest at the Bogata Cemetery following the services.
Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. As we come together to bid her farewell, let us remember the light she brought into our lives and find solace in the memories we shared. May she rest in peace.
