Steven Craig Cecil

Steven Craig Cecil of Clarksville, Texas passed from this life into eternal rest on August 9, 2022, at the young age of 22.  He was born on August 23, 1999, in Silver City, New Mexico, the youngest child of Steve and LaDonna Cecil.

Steven was known for his loving and caring heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed. Steven was a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Clarksville where he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior.  He was a homeschool student, taught by his loving mother.  Steven was employed by Sonic, having never met a stranger Steven excelled in the position of manager. 

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Steve and LaDonna Cecil of Clarksville, Texas; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Tanner of Fort Davis, Texas; brother, Bradley Scott and Jeanie Cecil of Paris, Texas; sister, Brandi Shea and Craig Russell of Reno, Texas; nieces and nephews, MacKenzie and Hailey Cecil and Jacob and Joshua Russell; his significant other, Jillian Heitz; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tommy and Reba Cecil, and maternal grandfather, Donald Tanner.

Graveside service will be held at the Pavilion at the Bogata Cemetery at 10:00 AM Tuesday August 16, 2022. Bro. Mike Black will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday evening at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home – Bogata.
