Thomas L. Mauldin, of Bogata, Texas passed away Wednesday morning in Clarksville, Texas at the age of 87 years. He was born in Cuthand, Texas on February 3, 1933 to David C. and Lydie (Fancher) Mauldin.
Affectionately known as Tommy by his family and friends. Tommy honorably served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Bogata and the VFW, he served as the President of the IBEW local 1176 and retired from Gould National Battery.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy Mauldin, their children, Robert and Sandy Mauldin of Canton, Texas and Darrell Mauldin of Bogata, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Mauldin, Dustin Mauldin, Robert Mauldin, Jr, Angela Gray, Kevin Mauldin, Kyle Mauldin, Keith Mauldin, and Dana Kyle; 20 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Betty Mauldin of Clarksville, Texas and his sister, Christine Worthan. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Wade Mauldin; brothers, Billy Mauldin, and Danny Mauldin, a sister, Merle Hughes.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Bogata Cemetery in Bogata, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Wood-Haggard Funeral Home.
