Mrs. Wanda Jean Henley age 82 of Bogata went to be with her Lord and savior on Monday March 26 at Regency Healthcare and Rehab in Clarksville. Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday March 29 at Cuthand United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Cuthand Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-7 pm Wed at the funeral home. She was called Aunt Wanda by many people throughout her life. She loved her nieces, nephews and family unconditionally. She was an avid reader and loved to collect angels. She was born November 20, 1929 to Sidney and Winnie Jones Wright. She grew up and went to school in Bogata. She married James Henley of Ennis Texas on December 1, 1973 and they made their home in the Cuthand community for over 25 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bogata. She worked at Bogata Nursing home in the dietary department many years and later was a private care giver. She retired in 2008 to care for her sick husband. She was preceded in death by her spouse James Henley, her parents Sid and Winnie Wright and two brothers, Bill and Bud Wright. She is survived by a sister Ruth Hornbuckle and husband Bob of Tucson; sisters in law, Diane Rich of Euless Texas and Shirley Henley of Ennis; her niece Charlotte Crow who lived with and cared for Wanda since the passing of Mr. Henley in 2008; numerous nieces, nephews ,great nieces and nephews as well as great - great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Regency Healthcare and Rehab, Dr Ganguly, Brad Bills and Lee Godwin with Reliant Therapy and Wood Funeral Home for their attentiveness, love and care. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Crown, Jason Reid, Timmy Crow, Richard Alford, James Wright and Rusty Lawings.
