Wanda Joy Morgan Obituary


   Mrs. Wanda Morgan passed from this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the age of 82 in San Antonio Texas.  Wanda had lived in Talco TX most of her life and Talco was the only place she called home.     
   Wanda was born November 25, 1936 in Red River County, TX to George and Inez (Swarts) Henson. She is preceded in death by her husband Dan Morgan and her parents.  Wanda was a member of Talco Church of Christ and the Daughters of the American Revolution and a long-time election judge around the Talco area.  Her passions were music and cooking and she never threw anything away because someday she would use it.
Surviving family includes; daughters Tommy and her husband Mike McDonald of San Antonio, TX, Victoria Morrison of Clarksville, TX and son Doug Smith and wife Judy of Palestine, Tx. nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
   Funeral services for Wanda Morgan will be 2 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Talco cemetery.  Officiating will be Bro. Anthony Fail , her grandson. The family will receive friends Saturday 5-7 at the Wood Funeral home, 414 N. Main Street, Bogata, TX 75417.
