Wanda Greer Nowell 83 of Paris and formerly o Cuthand, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Friday, June 1, at 2:00pm in the Cuthand Methodist Church with Reverend Don Shovan. Burial will follow in Cuthand Cemetery. The Family will receive friends at the church from 1:00pm until service time. She was born to Ben and Lottie Patton Greer in Cuthand, Texas on July 11, 1928. She loved spending time with her family and gardening. She always had a smile and never met a stranger. She was lovingly called "MeMaw" by her grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by four children: Wayne Williams and wife, Charlotte ; Carolyn Holcomb and husband, Danny; Terry Williams and wife, Anita ; Kim Nowell Smallwood and husband, Jason all o f Paris; two stepchildren, Eddie Nowell and wife, Sharon of Paris and Monty Nowell and wife, Laurie of Copperas Canyon, Texas; a sister, Maggie Williams of Bogata and a brother, Wesley Greer of Leakey, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Eddie Williams, Daniel Williams, Karen Williams, Taylor Hicks, Geron Hicks and Kennedy Alton and 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and four step grandchildren, Jimmy Nowell, Sheri Nowell Conger, Lindsey Nowell Rausch and Christopher Nowell. She was preceded in death by her huband, Geron Nowell, one step-grandson, Jason Nowell; two brothers, Williams C. and Jesse Greer; three sisters, Viola Phifer, Madlen Phifer, and Vida Bell Thomas.
