Wiley Rogers Howe was born October 1, 1935 in Red River County, to William Elijah and Oma Jane Emery Howe. He left his earthly life on August 31, 2011. Wiley served his country well and after 20 plus years of service, retired from the United States Air Force. He then moved to Tyler, Texas where he worked in Security until his final retirement. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Howe Landrum; nieces Sharon Baze and Carolyn Ryan; several cousins; great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Christina Howe Edward; brothers, William Burrell, Oscar Durwood, James Jasper, Emery, and Billy Rex Howe. Wiley was raised in the Deport area and attended Deport Schools. Military Burial will be September 17, 2011 at 10:00 am in Highland Cemetery. Wood Funeral Homes will have charge of the arrangements.
